This was the first time using this company. They were great, we called late one day and had an appointment for the next day. Adrian diagnosed the problem with our leaking washer quickly and provided the quote before leaving. No high pressure sales just a link on the quote that we could indicate whether they could proceed or not. The part took a couple of days and they booked the follow-up appointment. My experience with Pegasus Hamilton was absolutely phenomenal right from the first phone call I made. Due to a massive power outage my 10 year old Samsung fridge stopped cooling. The receptionist at Pegasus arranged for a technician on the same day I phoned. Emil arrived. He was very professional, prompt and totally honest. He gave me a point by point explanation as to what was wrong, what had to be done, cost of part and labor etc. While he was here he also asked if I needed servicing for any other appliances and went on to give free advice about dishwasher, freezer, washing machine and dryer. He said my fridge had to be defrosted and explained about ice build up. He came back the following week and proceeded to fix the issue. He even blessed my fridge and said "May your fridge have a long life". It meant so much to me because I'm the kind of person who doesn't have a throw away mindset!. I'll definitely phone Pegasus for future help if any appliances need them. They are polite, efficient, very honest and most importantly Emil is so confident. He is skilled, knows what to do and works fast.
I have a built in dual oven and the lower one isn’t working. Had someone look at it before and they said it was the main relay board. Given it’s age, the part is discontinued. Found a company that can repair these boards. So I called Pegasus to send a tech to take the board out so I can send it for repair. Emil (the tech) arrived within the agreed time frame, but still he apologized for not coming earlier. This was very impressive. I told him what I needed from him, but he went above and beyond and actually reviewed and tested all the oven parts and surprisingly found that the defect was not in the relay board but in another part, which he managed to fix. We tested the oven and viola, it worked ! Emil worked very hard for over two hours. He went above and beyond and definitely exceeded my expectations. I am very happy and satisfied. I would recommend him and the company without hesitation.
The technician from Pegasus showed up on time, explained what he had to do and why, gave me a time estimate and a price estimate and stuck to it. He was polite and personable and a great conversationalist. This is very professional in my opinion. The price was reasonable. I will be using them again and recommending them to others. I called in the morning and they were able to send someone out in the afternoon to look at my broken refrigerator (the place i called first told me they could schedule me for a phone consultation next week) Emil was friendly, professional and willing to help. Was having some issues with our dishwasher not draining. After trying a few repairs myself, I decided to get someone in to diagnose properly. I found Pegasus online and used their online form and they got back to me very quickly. I got a next day appointment (a Saturday!) with Dmitry, who came right on time. In the end, while he confirmed what I thought the issue may have been, the service was excellent and would definitely recommend!
Fantastic experience working with Pegasus Appliance Repair! First off, we called around and they were the only company to offer reliable same-day service and worked into the evening to resolve our issue. Secondly, our job was tricky - the tech, Dimitri, went above and beyond with his time and effort and still only charged us the basic labour fee. Great value for a professional service and 100% would recommend and would use again!
Pegasus repaired our freezer quickly and professionally. They made a service call the same day and diagnosed the problem. They received the parts the next day and returned to complete the repair. They quoted a price right after the diagnosis and told us it could be higher if more parts were found to be needed but no extra labour would be charged. The final bill was $28 higher because we needed to replace a broken fan. I would definitely use Pegasus again and recommend them to our friends.
Pegasus was quick to set up an appointment in a short time with a specific time frame. Emil was on time (actually ahead of schedule) and he quickly assessed the problem with my Bosch dishwasher. Emil returned in a few days (again on time) and was excellent in replacing the part and reinstalling the dishwasher. He really exceeded my expectations.
Before calling Pegasus I called another repair company. That company could confirm the day of assessment but not the time frame. Their scheduling would call in morning of the agreed day to offer a time frame, so if you can take the entire day off then that may work for you. When I suggested if they couldn't give a timeframe then when scheduling called I would inform them if the timeframe would/wouldn't work for me. I was told that same-day cancellations were not permitted. I assume the implication was that you get charged if you can't be available.
Let me contrast Pegasus repair with a prior experience with a dishwasher repair on a Blomberg. Scheduling an assessment took forever. Repair person was very late for assessment, complained the entire time, and then refused to remove dishwasher to do assessment. I pulled dishwasher out for assessment. Part needed to be ordered and no time line of delivery. After a few weeks I just bought a new dishwasher (the Bosch above). They eventually called back after several more weeks to say the part had come in.
The responsiveness and professionalism I received from Pegasus for my leaking washer repair was above and beyond. I called on a Saturday, the repair technician was here by Monday to assess and the machine was in working order by Wednesday! I think that is unheard of with regard to appliance repair. Emil, who assessed and repaired the problem was a consummate professional and very kind. He has no fear of animals which was great especially with what we have residing in our home lol. A great guy and a great experience. Will never hesitate to call upon their services again and will highly recommend.
I found the company via Google search following its great reviews. The service was very easy to book. The technician arrived the the next day, assessed the issue and happened to have a part in his van, how great is that! The repair was completed within 45 minutes. Shout out to Dmitry, a very competent and professional service person. Also, Pegasus has a great designed website with multiple, easy pay options. Summing up, Pegasus is an excellent service company that I highly recommend. It was also mentioned to me that there is 30 day warranty on the repair.
We had the dishwasher break down and called Pegasus. At the same time we had them address an issue with the cold water dispenser from the fridge. They came when they said they would and diagnosed the problems. The parts came in a few days later and they installed them, again coming at the scheduled time. They repaired items promptly, had to deal with an unusual counter installation that affected accessing the fridge effectively, but dealt with it. We are very pleased with the prompt service and effectively dealing with the issues. Also the service costs were reasonable for the time spent on the repairs. Which were done quite efficiently and it was obvious the technician understood what they were doing.

Time will tell on the quality of the repair but I am optimistic. That said Emil showed up at the start of the repair window given, quickly agreed with my assessment of the problem and was able to tell me if the fix was worth doing and what it would cost.
