This section is a detailed summary of the terms and conditions of use of the Pegasus Appliance Repair service and site. If you intend to use the services and website of Pegasus Appliance Repair, you should review, understand and accept all of the terms and conditions listed out below. If you disagree with any of the following steps you can find below, we advise you not to use our services or this platform. Definitions
  • Here and below, Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Pegasus Appliance Repair, 775 Upper Wentworth St, Unit 13 Hamilton, ON L9A 4V7
  • Here and below, the words You / Your / Client / Clients specify the website clients and users accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
  • Service refers to the Website or appliance repair services provided at customers home.
  • Website refers to Pegasus Appliance Repair, accessible from https://pegasusappliancerepair.ca/
  • Country refers to: Ontario, Canada

Service Call Charges And Policy

  • When a client books a service, clients should be at the stated address during the entire appointment window. If a client is unable to be present during the appointment, he or she can send a representative. The representative should be 18 years old or above. Make sure that the representative is able to pay and use a method that is valid. Failure to meet the conditions will lead to an extra charge, which is a reduced fee charge.
  • Through requesting the service customers allow the call to be processed at the agreed price (99$ + HST) and agree that the call and deposit (if applicable) are not refundable.
  • Each service that a customer purchase is considered to be a single order. This also applies when a customer places several orders simultaneously. Discounts are available for clients who request multiple jobs in the same house.
  • All invoices will have to be paid within 10 days. You will be charged an extra service fee of at least $50 if left unpaid.
  • Technicians at Pegasus Appliance Repair will always do their best to leave their workplace as tidy as it was before. Customer acknowledges that some jobs include moving appliances around, and when ordering the service Customer agrees that Pegasus Appliance Repair and its technicians are not responsible for damage to floors, walls, etc.

Cancellation Policy

  • In case of cancellation, customers should inform Us about canceling three hours before the appointment. For example, if you book an appointment between 12 pm and 2 pm, you must notify us at 9 am or before. We need to be given notice of at least 3 (three) business hours. Customers should not leave a voicemail if they fail to cancel an appointment three hours before. All service calls can be canceled with a live agent only.
  • Clients who book an appointment three hours from the time of the appointment can cancel within one hour from the time the appointment was booked.
  • If a client fails to follow the details of this policy, then he or she will be charged a reduced service call rate.
  • Failure to comply with our cancellation policy will result in a full charge of a service call rate – 99$ + HST

Refund Policy

  • A client can receive a partial refund if they feel unsatisfied with the work done by the technician. This amount is taken with the consent of the technician.
  • You pay for the repair if it fixes the problem. A customer can receive a complete refund of a labor fee if the unit can not be repaired after all technician visits. This amount is taken with the consent of the technician.
  • A customer can receive a partial refund of parts price according to our “Ordering Parts Policy” if the unit can not be repaired after all technician visits. This amount is taken with the consent of the technician.
  • Service call fees are not refundable

Ordering Parts Policy

  • Technicians who have to order a new part required for fixing the unit must charge a 50% deposit. Once the ordered part is installed, the outstanding amount has to be paid.
  • Parts that were ordered or installed via Pegasus Appliance Repair cannot be returned or refunded and by canceling the order or the installation. The customer acknowledges that will have to pay the full amount for the parts that were ordered or installed.
  • Client can not receive any refund on parts once the technician opened and/or installed the ordered part – the part cannot be returned.
  • Client can receive only a partial refund if ordered parts haven’t been opened. For unopened parts, the client and will be charged a 20% restocking fee. The rest of the price of the part can be refunded
  • The technician has to make sure that the work area is kept clean after fixing an appliance. If customers don’t ask for damaged parts then the technician will take them for recycling on the same day.
  • Pegasus Appliance Repair will guarantee only the parts which were replaced or repaired and only for the number of days stated on the invoice. No other parts of the appliance will be included in the warranty.
