After researching many appliance repair companies and talking to a few, I settled on calling Pegasus after reading their reviews and responses from the owner. They are also registered with the Better Business Bureau, where many repair companies are not. They also fix Samsung fridges which not everyone fixes. Anyways, the admin staff who booked my appointment was great! She booked a day-of appointment and she ensured that it worked with our hectic schedule. The technician (Igor) came over today and he was so helpful! He texted me before coming over and was on time. My dog even liked him! He quickly diagnosed the potential problem (common issue with Samsung fridges), but also noted that the fridge might be fine after we defrosted it. He was very knowledgeable. I asked so many questions and he took the time to explain things to me. He gave me the option to go forward with the fix or to wait and see what happens. I really appreciated that he didn't force or sway me into fixing it - it's hard to find truly honest people these days! I decided to wait and see what happens and I was happy to pay the service fee for his time and advice. He also gave me some tips on our dishwasher, free of charge. Thank you Igor for your help today! I'll definitely be calling Pegasus and Igor for any future appliance problems (sorry in advance because I know that I ask sooo many questions!).

Simple to set up appointment with the virtual assistant- so simple I was skeptical it was true that the same day I called, they had the appointment for the service. I was given a time with a reasonable 2 hour window and was contacted by text to be updated 30 minutes before they arrived. Peter professionally diagnosed the problem with the dryer heating element not working, showed me and found that he had the replacement part with him and had the repair done and the dryer put back together. That was the most efficient repair I’ve ever had. I only found out it was broken that morning at 8:30am and by noon it was fixed. Will share my great experience with Pegasus!

I contacted Pegasus to repair an induction cooktop that wasn't functioning. The technician who came was extremely professional and was able to identify and repair the issue quickly. The price was also reasonable.

My only (somewhat) negative feedback is that communication with them is done via email, which I don't check frequently, and for which I don't get notifications. That result is that communication requiring timely response was missed. It would've been better since I provided my phone number to communicate by text since I receive notifications for those and am more likely to respond quickly.

Regardless, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We found Pegasus by searching on Google and are we happy we did. My Dad had an issue with some water leaking from his dishwasher and Emil arrived to try and figure out where the leak was coming from. He was completely professional, he was thorough and very knowledgable. After over an hour of tearing the machine apart, nothing was leaking for Emil. Today it leaked a little bit again and so Emil came back, same day, and helped once again and went above and beyond once again. He didn't charge for the second visit either! So impressed with his services, highly recommend this company. As he left each time he asked my Dad if there was any other appliances he could help with too! Top Notch company! And very reasonable rates, especially for Seniors!

We had a problem with water dripping in the refrigerator and freezing. I watched lots of YouTube videos but decided to leave it to the experts. We chose Pegasus because of the great reviews. We were not disappointed. Peter was fantastic. A very knowledgeable person. Explained everything, provided a quote and was able to do the service immediately.
We think of plumbers and repair people as being over priced. Frankly, experience says you get what you pay for.
No disappointment with Pegasus and Peter. Well worth the prompt and friendly service. He also did a repair to the dishwasher.

We had an awesome experience and I can't recommend Pegasus / Igor enough! Our dryer randomly stopped working. It would turn on but not start. Igor quickly found the problem and replaced the parts. (which he had on hand) Upon completion the dryer was making a bit more noise than usual to which Igor said if it doesn't completely go away after a few cycles to call him back as it was possibly the new part breaking in. I ended up having to call him back and he once again, quickly fixed the issue at no additional cost to me. His amazing customer care is greatly appreciated. In both instances, they came out within a few hours of me calling as well. Highly recommended and will use again.

The refrigerator just suddenly stopped working. I just searched online and was very fortunate to have found Pegasus.

I could have done the booking online, but chose to call in and the person who took my call, Anna, Was so courteous and helpful. Pegasus was able to send a technician on the same day and they came right on time.

The technician, Gregory, Texted me directly as to when he was arriving, and after he did the assessment, he communicated what the problem was. We agreed that he would look for the Part that needed to be replaced.

The next day, I got an email from head office advising that the part has been located And I was provided with an estimate for the purchase of the part and the installation. I chose to pay the invoice in advance to expedite although usually I will wait until the work is done, of course.

Pegasus was able to schedule Gregory on That second day and again he came on time and was able to fix the refrigerator.

I greatly appreciate the convenience of contacting Pegasus and I’m grateful for how responsive they were. Everybody I dealt with was very courteous and professional.

The warranty on the work itself It’s only for 30 days and I guess I wish it was slightly longer. Of course I understand that if something else goes wrong, that’s a different matter altogether.

Based on my experience, I would suggest people give Pegasus a try. My experience was a very positive one and I will use them again in the future, but hopefully that time too soon ha ha

I called Pegasus for a very loud dryer noise. The first technician, Sergei, came out and worked on the machine but wasn’t able to resolve the issue. Pegasus then sent a senior technician, Emil, who did his best to diagnose and repair the dryer, but unfortunately the noise still continued afterward.

Even though the repair didn’t end up fixing my dryer, Pegasus kept their word on billing. They refunded everything except the service call itself, which I think is completely fair. I appreciate that they didn’t charge me for parts or work that didn’t solve the problem.

I’m still not sure what’s ultimately wrong with my dryer and may need to replace it (thankfully, it is Black Friday weekend) but I do want to say that Pegasus stood by their work and handled the refund responsibly. Because of that, I would recommend them.

The experience was beyond my expectations! The process was easy from the inital call for service through to the end of the service call, and the pricing was very fair. Usually the service coordinator make promises the technician can't fulfill. Not in this case. I was told to expect a ping at a specified time, it came. The ping from Sergey who told me the time he would be here, and he was. The diagnosis, was quick and the resolution immediate. Sergey noted a secondary problem, and that too was rectified. When pressed for a longer term prognosis on my dishwasher, Sergey provided a knowledgeable confident response. I am more than pleased and would call Pegagsus again should I have other appliance issues. A note to Pegasus, nice hire getting Sergey on your team!

No waiting for a long automated message asking you to pay attention because their long automated message has changed. The service technician arrived on schedule, and because he had run into this issue with this particular appliance brand before, he anticipated the problem and arrived with the part! This company was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I requested an appointment through their online portal because it was after hours on a Saturday. The promised phone call came the next morning (Sunday) and an appointment was booked for Monday, a 2 hour window. The repairman Sergey sent me a text when he was 20 minutes away. He arrived on time, thoroughly assessed the problem and explained everything. He had to order a new part - it's a 12 year old washer but well built. He said it might be Thursday - he ordered the part immediately, right there on his phone. Well I got a call Tuesday afternoon, part has arrived, with an appointment for Wednesday at Noon! Same situation, Sergey showed up right on time, did the repair, tested everything. A very friendly guy and Excellent work! Considering the 2 visits, the part, and the excellent service, the price seemed fair to me. Thanks!

My experience with Pegasus Hamilton was absolutely phenomenal right from the first phone call I made. Due to a massive power outage my 10 year old Samsung fridge stopped cooling. The receptionist at Pegasus arranged for a technician on the same day I phoned. Emil arrived. He was very professional, prompt and totally honest. He gave me a point by point explanation as to what was wrong, what had to be done, cost of part and labor etc. While he was here he also asked if I needed servicing for any other appliances and went on to give free advice about dishwasher, freezer, washing machine and dryer. He said my fridge had to be defrosted and explained about ice build up. He came back the following week and proceeded to fix the issue. He even blessed my fridge and said "May your fridge have a long life". It meant so much to me because I'm the kind of person who doesn't have a throw away mindset!. I'll definitely phone Pegasus for future help if any appliances need them. They are polite, efficient, very honest and most importantly Emil is so confident. He is skilled, knows what to do and works fast.

Just wanted to share a wonderful experience I had with this company. They did not ask me to write a review but I felt compelled to do so. I asked Chat GPT to find me a highly recommended company who could help fix my fridge/freezer that just broke down on us. I came across Pegasus Appliance Repair and saw that they could come the same day to look and possible repair it. Had a gentleman named Adrian who came to have a look and was very helpful and honest about the situation. They didn't have the part on hand but quickly got it ordered and came back a couple of days later to make the repair. We were about to buy a new fridge but we were assured that our fridge could be repaired much cheaper and continue to potentially work for years to come. Highly recommend them.

To remove the old dishwasher and install the new one, I contacted Pegasus Appliance Repair. They responded quickly, and Adrian came to my house twice. He was enthusiastic, friendly, and professional. Since my English isn't very good, he recorded a video to explain to the plumber what needed to be done. The entire installation process was thorough and meticulous. After completing the installation, he carefully checked everything and helped me start the dishwasher for its first run. My mother's dryer had been failing intermittently for months - tumbled fine but no heat - so on a recent visit to her I called Pegasus to get service. I was very impressed by the speed of getting an appointment (next day after a late day call to the office). Emil called within the appointment window they gave me, arrived on time, was very amusing (not a requirement in a technician, but awfully nice!), and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Sadly, our very old dryer needed a part that had to be ordered, but Emil came back with the part in a couple of days and fixed the dryer. I could not be more pleased with this company.

I received an error code on my dryer yesterday and it wouldn't stop running unless I opened the door and wasn't producing any heat. The usual appliance repair company could not come out for 3 days and then would likely need to order parts. So I searched for someone locally and was impressed with Pegasus' 5-star rating with over 40 reviews. They were actually very close to my home so I called and explained the situation. They were able to send Adrian over that same afternoon. He quickly diagnosed that it was the main powerboard that was the problem. After looking for a replacement he said it was not available and was a special order which would take a few days to get in. He said he could try to reset the board which he did and amazingly it fixed the problem. The dryer is running perfectly again and I may end up ordering the board anyway just to be safe, but I'm very pleased with the service this company provided and they are less expensive than the company I normally use who are also very good. Adrian was on time, very efficient, communicated everything that he was doing and a pleasure to have in my home. You will not be disappointed with this company and I will hire them again if the need arises.

These days, it's difficult to find a company that can repair appliances effectively and at a reasonable cost. We are pleased to report that we have discovered a solution to this problem in Pegasus Appliance Repair. We called Pegasus a few weeks ago to repair our dishwasher. Émile, from Pegasus, did the job efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Consequently, we contacted Pegasus to repair and restore our Sub-Zero refrigerator. Dmitry and Émile, showed up, assessed the problem, and rebuilt the refrigerator, again at a reasonable cost. We feel lucky to have found Dmitry and Émile who are not only highly capable, but also very personable gentlemen. You can trust them to do a great job for you without a major assault your bank account.

I have a built in dual oven and the lower one isn’t working. Had someone look at it before and they said it was the main relay board. Given it’s age, the part is discontinued. Found a company that can repair these boards. So I called Pegasus to send a tech to take the board out so I can send it for repair. Emil (the tech) arrived within the agreed time frame, but still he apologized for not coming earlier. This was very impressive. I told him what I needed from him, but he went above and beyond and actually reviewed and tested all the oven parts and surprisingly found that the defect was not in the relay board but in another part, which he managed to fix. We tested the oven and viola, it worked ! Emil worked very hard for over two hours. He went above and beyond and definitely exceeded my expectations. I am very happy and satisfied. I would recommend him and the company without hesitation.
