Bosch Appliances We Repair Across Southern Ontario
Bosch appliances are designed for quiet operation and efficiency, but when something goes wrong, issues are often system-related and require accurate diagnosis. We regularly service Bosch kitchen and laundry appliances and focus on identifying the root cause before recommending a repair.
-
Bosch Fridge Repair

Bosch refrigerators are typically reliable, but when issues occur, they are often related to airflow, sensors, or control systems rather than simple mechanical failures.
Common Bosch fridge issues include:
- Fridge not cooling evenly due to airflow or sensor issues
- Temperature fluctuations or incorrect readings
- Ice buildup on evaporator or behind panels
- Water leaking from clogged drain systems
- Fan noise or intermittent cooling cycles
- Control board or communication faults
Proper diagnosis is important, as many Bosch cooling issues are not caused by the compressor.
-
Bosch Dishwasher Repair

Bosch dishwashers are one of the most common appliances we service. Many issues are related to drainage, heat pump systems, or water detection sensors.
Common Bosch dishwasher issues include:
- E15 error (water in base / AquaStop triggered)
- Not draining properly or leaving water at the bottom
- Dishes not drying due to heat pump or heater issues
- Unit runs but does not clean effectively
- Circulation pump or motor noise
- Door latch or control panel issues
Many Bosch dishwasher problems require proper testing of the system rather than replacing parts blindly.
-
Bosch Washing Machine Repair

Bosch washers are sensitive to load balance and drainage conditions. Many faults are related to sensors, pumps, or control systems.
Common Bosch washing machine issues include:
- Not draining or slow drainage
- Spin cycle issues or unbalanced loads
- Door lock or latch faults
- Error codes related to water level or sensors
- Water leaks from pump or hoses
- Unusual vibration despite proper installation
Many issues are linked to installation conditions or sensor readings rather than major component failure.
-
Bosch Dryer Repair

Bosch dryers, especially condensation and heat pump models, can develop airflow and moisture-related issues over time.
Common Bosch dryer issues include:
- Dryer runs but clothes stay damp
- Clogged condensation system or restricted airflow
- Overheating or shutting off early
- Drum not rotating properly
- Moisture sensor inaccuracies
- Unusual noises during operation
Proper airflow and internal cleaning are critical for Bosch dryer performance.
-
Bosch Stove Repair

Bosch electric and induction cooktops rely on precise power control and sensors. When issues occur, they are often electronic rather than mechanical.
Common Bosch stove issues include:
- Induction zones not detecting cookware
- Burners not heating evenly
- Touch controls not responding
- Error codes on display
- Power regulation issues
Induction systems require proper diagnosis of control boards and sensors.
-
Bosch Oven Repair

Bosch ovens are built for consistent temperature control, so when issues arise, they are often related to sensors or electronic controls.
Common Bosch oven issues include:
- Oven not heating or heating unevenly
- Temperature inaccuracies
- Control panel or display malfunctions
- Self-clean cycle not completing
- Door lock or latch issues
Accurate temperature control depends on properly functioning sensors and control systems.

Bosch Appliance Repair FAQs
Here are the questions Bosch owners in Southern Ontario ask us most, with straight answers from our technicians:
-
What does E24 or E25 mean on a Bosch dishwasher?
Both codes mean the dishwasher couldn’t drain. E24 is the single most common Bosch code we see. Usually it’s a clogged filter, a kinked or improperly looped drain hose, or debris in the check valve. E25 points more specifically at the drain pump itself β a jammed impeller or a failed pump. Clean the filter and check the hose first; if the code comes back, the pump needs testing.
-
My Bosch dishwasher shows E15 and won’t run. What is it?
E15 means water has reached the base pan and triggered Bosch’s AquaStop leak protection. The dishwasher locks out on purpose. Tilting the machine to drain the pan can clear the code once, but if E15 returns there is an active leak β typically a hose connection, door seal, sump gasket or a cracked pump housing. Don’t keep running it. We diagnose the source of the leak, not just the code. See a recent Bosch E15 repair from our team.
-
Why won’t my Bosch dishwasher dry the dishes?
Bosch dishwashers use condensation drying rather than a heated fan, so plastics come out damp on every model β that’s normal. If glasses and dishes are also wet, check that the rinse aid dispenser is full and set high; rinse aid is what makes condensation drying work. If that doesn’t fix it, the E09 heating circuit (heat pump or NTC sensor) or the drying-cycle control may have failed, which we test on site. Newer models with CrystalDry or AutoAir have their own components that can fail separately.
-
What does E18 or E23 mean on a Bosch washing machine?
E18 is a drain timeout β the washer couldn’t pump out within the allowed time. Nine times out of ten it’s the drain pump filter behind the small door at the bottom-front, clogged with coins, hair pins or lint. E23 is the washer’s AquaStop: water has been detected in the base, which means a leak from a hose, the pump or the door boot. Like E15 on the dishwasher, E23 needs the leak found, not just the code cleared.
-
My Bosch heat pump dryer runs but clothes stay damp. Why?
Bosch condensation and heat pump dryers depend on airflow through a condenser and lint filters that most people never clean. Blocked condenser fins, a full condensate tank or a clogged drain hose are the usual culprits, followed by a failed moisture sensor. These dryers don’t get “hot” the way vented dryers do, so long cycles are normal β but wet clothes after a full cycle are not. We clean the full airflow path and test the sensor system.
-
Is my Bosch fridge compressor gone if it stops cooling?
Usually not. Most Bosch cooling complaints we see are evaporator ice-ups from a failed defrost heater, thermistor or damper, blocked airflow, or a control board fault β not the compressor. We test the sealed system last, after ruling out the cheaper causes. If it is a compressor, we’re ODP certified for sealed-system work and will tell you honestly whether the repair makes sense.
-
Are Bosch parts available in Canada, and do you carry them?
Yes. Bosch is a BSH brand, and BSH parts distribution in Canada is good β most drain pumps, heat pumps, inlet valves, control modules and door components are available within a few days. Our vans carry the high-turnover Bosch dishwasher and washer parts. For anything else we order by your exact E-Nr (model number) from the rating plate inside the door, and return to install it with no second service call fee.
-
Is it worth repairing a Bosch appliance?
Almost always for dishwashers and washers, which are built to run 10β15 years and rarely fail in ways that cost more than a fraction of replacement. Built-in and panel-ready Bosch units are worth repairing simply because replacing them means matching cabinetry. The exceptions are a main control board on an older unit or a sealed-system failure on a basic freestanding fridge β we’ll tell you before any work is done.
-
My Bosch is still under manufacturer warranty. Should I call you?
Call Bosch first. Warranty repairs must go through a Bosch-authorized servicer or the manufacturer voids coverage. Pegasus is an independent repair company, not authorized by Bosch, and we handle out-of-warranty service. Once your warranty has ended, we’re often faster and less expensive than the authorized network.
-
Do you repair Bosch appliances in my area?
Yes. We provide Bosch appliance repair across Southern Ontario from ten local hubs β Hamilton, Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Oakville, Burlington, Brantford, Kitchener-Waterloo, London and Niagara. See our full service area.
