Samsung Range Electronic Board Replacement
This Samsung range electronic board replacement involved a newer unit that stopped working entirely after a power surge — just days before Christmas Eve. The customer had no display, no response, and a completely dead range at the worst possible time.
Issue – Samsung Range Not Powering On
After a power surge, the range lost all functionality. The control panel was unresponsive and the unit would not power on, indicating a failure in the electronic control system.
Diagnosis
We inspected incoming power, confirmed proper voltage, and tested the range’s internal control circuitry. The main electronic control board had failed due to surge damage, preventing the unit from operating.
Repair Performed
We replaced the damaged electronic board with the correct OEM component and verified proper operation of the display, oven, and cooktop functions. Final testing confirmed stable performance.
- Confirmed proper incoming power supply
- Diagnosed failed electronic control board
- Installed replacement OEM control board
- Verified display and control functions
- Tested oven heating and cooktop operation
Result
The Samsung range powered up normally and all functions were restored. The customer avoided replacing a nearly new unit and had the range working again in time for the holidays.
